Ryan: I know you want me to say I’m sorry, but I’m not. Oliver admitted it right to my face. He told me he wanted me gone so he could get to Marissa.
Sandy: Then why would he drop the assault charges against you?

Sandy: Come on, Ryan. Talk to me.
Ryan: What’s the point? You’re not going to believe me anyway.
Sandy: It’s not about what I believe. I wish it was. It’s about what you did. The next time you feel like raising your fist you had better open your mouth and talk. I’m here for that.

Sandy: If you want to stay—if you want to be part of this family. You’re not going to go anywhere, you’re not going to do anything, you’re not going to see anyone unless Kirsten and I say it’s okay. That’s the deal. Take it or leave it.

Summer: So Ryan just like punched him for no reason?
Marissa: Well that’s what Ryan does. He punches people. He doesn’t talk to them. And he doesn’t listen.
Summer: Okay, well hHe had to have a reason though. I mean Ryan’s violent but he’s not stupid.
Marissa: I don’t know. He thinks Oliver’s in love with me or something.
Summer: Well isn’t he?

Anna: Wow. Oliver seems almost…
Summer: Yeah well why shouldn’t he. He has Marissa all to himself now.

Julie: Hey, you guys wanna join us? We’re celebrating my new position.
Sandy: Ohhh, I’m not gonna touch that one.

Marissa’s phone rings and she hesitates answering it
Oliver: It’s Ryan, isn’t it?
Luke: You’re not gonna get it?
Oliver: She’s not talking to Ryan right now.
Luke: Is she still talking to me or are you doing all of her talking from now on?

Julie: Shouldn’t you be in school?
Ryan: I got suspended.
Julie: Oh. What a surprise. Who’d you beat up this time, Dr. Kim?

Seth: You don’t think that’s a little crazy?
Luke: Dude, have you met Oliver?

Kirsten: You want me to break up with her?
Caleb: I knew you would understand.

Sandy: Ryan, I promise I will do everything I can to help you. But I can’t help you if you don’t tell me.

Caleb: I’m sorry.
Julie: You should be. I deserve so much better from you. From both of you. Enjoy your office. I quit.

Sandy: Hello, ladies! Seth.
Seth: Dad, don’t call me a lady.

Seth: What? What’d I do?
Sandy: You hurt that poor girl’s feelings out there.
Seth: Who, Dad? Summer?
Sandy: No, no. Anna.
Seth: I didn’t say a word to Anna.
Sandy: Exactly.

Oliver Trask: If you don’t give it up, it’s over.
Ryan: Hey Oliver? It’s far from over.

Seth: I’m not talking about this anymore.
Sandy: No, of course you’re not talking about it. No one’s talking to me about anything lately. If you want to go and flirt with Summer, go ahead.
Seth: Why are we still talking about this?
Sandy: Because I’m your father and I’m responsible for you. And if I see something’s going on with you we are going to talk about it.
Seth: Do you think this is about me, or could this be about Ryan?
Sandy: No. It’s about you.
Seth: Okay. But just in case it’s a little bit about Ryan, I think he’ll come to you when he’s ready.

Seth: You know how excited I get turning people on to comics.
Anna: I know how excited you get turning Summer on.

Marissa: There is no ex-girlfriend is there?
Oliver: Marissa, I can explain.

Sandy: Where’re you going?
Ryan: I think Marissa’s in trouble, I’m just going to make sure she’s okay.
Sandy: Give me the keys.
Ryan: I have to go, okay.
Sandy: Give me the keys.
Ryan: You said if I needed your help, I could come to you.
Sandy: Give me the keys… I’ll drive.

Oliver: If you leave I will have nothing else to live for. So you have to promise me you will not leave.

Ryan: I know what it’s like to be abandoned by your parents, your friends. To have no one in your life that believes you. But if you put the gun down you get a second chance.

Anna: I think you’re a great guy. But I’m not going to stand here and pretend like I’m your girlfriend when I’m not. At least not anymore. I’ll see you in school.

Seth: Ever since the day you got here you have totally had my back and I, I just promise you I will never fail you again. I’m so sorry.

Seth: So do you want to tell me about your night, or—since I heard about it—can we just skip to my breakup with Anna?
Ryan: Really? Anna broke up with you?
Seth: Now why would you just assume Anna broke up with me?
Ryan: Seth, come on.
Seth: What does that mean?
Ryan: What, she didn’t break up with you?
Seth: No, she did, but you’re supposed to have my back.
