I haven’t been around here much lately, huh?

Oh don’t act like you didn’t notice. I see you lurking over there. You’re fooling no one.

I’m not exactly sure why. Well I am sure why. I had it in my head that I was going to write this eloquent and mesmerizing soliloquy that would leave the reader weeping in the corner.

Which is pretty much what I’ve been doing since 7:30 am on Tuesday of this week when Ramona died.

And I can’t quite sum up how that feels. All I know is I lost my best friend–at times my only friend–of the last thirteen years. So I’m feeling pretty lost at the moment.

She was a really nice cat. I miss her.
