  • Wright's divorce proceedings go horribly awry and Wright and Hinzenberg are arrested near Minneapolis for allegedly violating the Mann Act. They spend several nights in Hennepin County jail
  • Wright starts work on his autobiography

  • Wright is asked to design a cultural center to include and opera house, two museums, plus a post office and telecommunications building in Baghdad
